Copy Quote - ReorderUpdated a month ago
What Is Considered a Reorder?
An order qualifies as a reorder if:
- The artwork remains unchanged—the art file is exactly the same as the previous year.
- The only updates are to sizes and names/numbers.
- Note: Adding Tackle Twill to a reorder that did not have it previously is acceptable.
Steps to Copy a Quote
Important: You can only copy a quote if it meets the reorder criteria above.
Copy the Quote:
- Update all sales entry details under Macro- Sales Entry.
- Ensure that shipping and contact information is updated for the new quote. (Each year, this information often changes.)
- Date: Please ensure that your date is updated to the most current one, as the system will retain the last quoted date.
Update the Configurator for Each Line Item:
- Refresh tabs 1-4 by re-selecting from the dropdown.
- Note: Some colors may have been discontinued.
- Why is this important? If you do not refresh all configurator lines, the manufacturing cards will not update with any new adjustments made for the style, which can cause errors in production.
- Refresh tabs 1-4 by re-selecting from the dropdown.
Enter Names and Numbers:
- The Names and Numbers tab is the only section where new information should be entered.
Remove Reorder Notes:
- Delete all previous reorder notes before finalizing the quote.
Critical Reminder:
- If new artwork is added, the quote cannot be converted. You will be required to create a new, non-copied quote.
- Skipping these steps has led to multiple errors on the production floor, so accuracy is key!
NEW INFORMATION
When entering new sizes on a reorder, if you notice that size is unavailable, this indicates that it was recently added to the configurator. In such cases, you must delete the line entirely and re-enter the order. Unfortunately, the system does not update automatically.
