What Is The Difference Between Priority and Rush?Updated 2 months ago

At the end of the day, all requests go on the same list. However, there is a key difference:

  • Rush orders are paid for, meaning they are guaranteed to be fulfilled within the requested timeline, which is usually earlier than the estimated ship window given.
  • Priority list orders are still a priority, but since they are not paid rushes, they are not guaranteed to ship on time. Production will use the priority list as a guideline, but these orders should still be closely monitored.

Reps must keep an eye on their priority orders and ensure that Production and Customer service are aligned. If there are concerns, we recommend flagging them early in the month or adding them to the priority list after they are converted.

Additionally, all orders—whether Rush or Priority—must be paid to be included on the priority list.

Is your order a priority but not a rush?

Steps to ensure it’s handled correctly:

  1. Is the order paid in full?

    • Yes: When placing the order in Ready status in HubSpot, add a note stating that the order needs to ship by the Estimated Ship Date (ESD) . Be sure to include the event name and event date in the note. We will try to add this to the priority list based on production demand, but there will be a limit to how many can be accommodated each month. If a specific production window is at capacity, we will alert the team that no more can be added.
  2. If the order has already been converted:

    • Tag your CSR on the deal in HubSpot and send a follow-up email to confirm. Be sure to provide the event name and event date so they can prioritize accordingly.
